Free invoice generator in Arabic and English, with QR code

Type your business, your customer and the items, and the invoice builds as you type, with every heading in Arabic and English. Save it as a PDF from your browser. It is a simple invoice maker, not a Phase 2 e-invoicing system.

A stack of itemised invoices with a total and a VAT percentage badge

Free invoice generator

The invoice appears below the form and is always printed in English and Arabic. Nothing you type is stored or sent: the invoice is made in your browser.

This tool makes a simple invoice. It does not make ZATCA Phase 2 e-invoices: there is no cryptographic stamp and no clearance or reporting. If ZATCA has called your business into a Phase 2 wave, use an e-invoicing system.

Your business

Leave this empty if you are not registered for VAT. The invoice then shows no VAT and no QR code.

How the invoice generator works

Type your business details, the customer and the items. The invoice builds as you type, with every heading in English and Arabic, and you save it as a PDF from your browser’s print window.

If you enter your VAT registration number, the invoice is a tax invoice: VAT is added at 15% or 0% for each item and rounded to the halala, and a QR code is added with the five values of ZATCA’s Phase 1 format (seller name, VAT number, date and time, total and VAT amount). Without a VAT number the invoice shows no VAT and no QR code.

The names and descriptions you type appear as you write them, so type them in Arabic, English or both. Amounts are in Saudi riyals.

Good to know

  • This tool does not keep your invoices, number them for you or stop you changing one later. An invoicing system that follows ZATCA’s e-invoicing rules does these things, and a business covered by those rules should use one. Ask ZATCA or your accountant whether an invoice made here is enough for your business.
  • The QR code carries the five Phase 1 values and is not signed. It is not a Phase 2 e-invoice, and ZATCA does not check or approve invoices made with this tool. You can test the code with the QR code validator.
  • Items can be charged at 15% or 0% (zero-rated). Exempt supplies and other cases are not covered: ask your accountant how to invoice them.
  • Nothing you type is stored or sent anywhere. Close the page and the invoice is gone, so save the PDF first.

Questions about the invoice generator

How do I make an invoice in Arabic and English?

Fill in the form above. The invoice always prints with every heading in English and Arabic, and the names and descriptions you type appear exactly as you write them.

How do I save the invoice as a PDF?

Press “Print or save as PDF” and choose “Save as PDF” as the destination in the print window. Turn off headers and footers for a clean page.

Is the QR code on the invoice valid for ZATCA?

The QR code uses the five-value format of ZATCA’s Phase 1, and you can check what it holds with the QR code validator. ZATCA does not approve invoices made with this tool, and the code is not signed. Confirm with ZATCA or your accountant what your business needs.

Is this a Phase 2 e-invoice?

No. A Phase 2 e-invoice is an XML file with a cryptographic stamp, sent to ZATCA for clearance or reporting through an invoicing system connected to ZATCA. A browser tool cannot do that.

Do I have to charge VAT on my invoice?

Only a business registered for VAT charges it. If you leave the VAT number empty, the invoice shows no VAT. If you are not sure whether you have to register, use the VAT registration checker and ask your accountant.
