Invoicing

Tax invoices, simplified invoices and credit notes, each numbered in sequence automatically.

A stack of itemised invoices with a total and a VAT percentage badge

Choose the customer, add products or services and set the payment terms, and Fatooraz applies 15% VAT and fills in your tax details. The invoice stays a draft that you can review and edit until you confirm it. Simplified invoices cover consumer and counter sales, and credit or debit notes correct anything already issued. Each document takes the next number in its own sequence, so your records stay in order.

What you get

Review the draft before you confirm

A new invoice starts as a draft. Check the customer, the lines, the prices and the VAT, correct anything that is wrong, and confirm only when it looks right. Until then nothing has been issued.

Tax and simplified invoices from one screen

Pick the document that fits the sale: a tax invoice for a business customer with a VAT number, or a simplified tax invoice for a consumer. Both use your company details and the standard 15% VAT rate.

Sequential numbering you do not manage

Invoices, credit notes and debit notes are numbered in order automatically. Nobody types a number by hand, which avoids the duplicates and gaps that manual numbering tends to produce.

Saved customers and tax details filled in

Your VAT number and address, and a returning customer's saved details, appear on each document without extra work. The clerk picks the customer and adds the lines instead of writing the same details every time.

How it works

  1. 1

    Start a new invoice

Select the customer, add products or services with quantities and prices, and set the payment terms. Fatooraz adds the VAT to each line as you go.

  2. 2

Confirm the invoice and share it

Confirming the invoice locks it and gives it its number. You can then print it or share a bilingual PDF copy with the customer.

  3. 3

Correct with a note, not an edit

If something changes after issue, create a credit note against the original invoice, or a debit note for an extra charge. The invoice stays as issued and the note carries the correction.

Frequently asked questions

Can I issue both tax invoices and simplified invoices?

Yes. Use a tax invoice when you sell to a business and a simplified tax invoice for consumer or counter sales; credit and debit notes are available alongside both. Which type a given sale needs depends on the customer and on your obligations to ZATCA, so ask your accountant if you are unsure.

What if I make a mistake on an issued invoice?

Issued invoices cannot be edited or deleted, in line with e-invoicing rules. Issue a credit note to cancel or reduce the invoice, then create a corrected one. Both documents stay in your records, so the history of the sale is complete.

Can I review an invoice before it is issued?

Yes. A new invoice stays a draft until you confirm it, and you can open it and change the customer, quantities, prices or payment terms as often as you need. Once confirmed it is locked and numbered, so take a last look first. After that, corrections go through a credit note.
